Let's take the example of Binance , the most used cryptocurrency exchange in the world, to concretely illustrate the creation of a Web3 wallet integrated into your exchange platform.

 

 

Here is the step-by-step process:

Preparation :

  1. Install the Binance app on your Android or IOS device.
  2. Log in to your Binance account.
  3. From the tab start creating your Web3 Wallet from the Button
  4. Validate the creation of your Web3 Wallet
  5. You will first be asked to backup your wallet. Validate your backup.

Transfer :

  1. Your Web3 Wallet is now created. You will now need to transfer your assets from your Binance Funding and Spot Wallet to your new Web3 Wallet .
    Push the button     then validate the transfer by selecting the cryptocurrency you want to send.

 

  1. Once the transfer is complete, simply place your order on Fantasysphere.net , select the Crypto Payment method.

 

Payment :

  1. On the payment validation page you will be asked to choose the cryptoasset you will use for payment.
  2. You will then be asked to confirm the connection to your Web3 Wallet by selecting the Binance application.
  3. Back on the Fantasy Sphere Website, you can now validate the payment.

If you already own cryptocurrencies on an exchange platform, you will need to transfer from the platform where you manage your cryptocurrencies directly to this new Web3 wallet.

To do this, let's take the example of a transfer from the Binance application to Metamask:

Here are the steps to transfer assets from the Binance app to MetaMask:

1. Preparation:

  • Make sure you have both apps: Binance and MetaMask.
  • Verify that the network selected on MetaMask matches the network of the asset you want to transfer.
  • Important: Never send cryptocurrencies to an incompatible network address. This could result in the loss of your funds.

2. Retrieve the receiving address:

  • On MetaMask, open the “Wallet” tab.
  • Select the asset you want to receive.
  • Click the “Copy Address” button.

3. Send assets from Binance:

  • Log in to your Binance account.
  • Click on “Wallet” then select the “Spot” tab.
  • Find the asset you want to transfer and click "Withdraw".
  • Network: Select the same network as your MetaMask.
  • Receiving Address: Paste the address you copied into MetaMask.
  • Amount: Enter the amount you want to transfer.
  • Check all details carefully before confirming the transaction.
